Matamata Industrial Machinery Imports Limited (MIMICO) sells, hires and services heavy machinery for the quarrying, mining, contracting, construction, recycling and forestry industries. MIMICO is the New Zealand distributor for Metso Rock Crushers and Screens, Kobelco Excavators, KCM Loaders, Moxy Dump Trucks, CESCO Concrete Mixer Units, ZF Construction Parts & Mixer Drives, Epiroc Rock Breakers, Dynapac Compaction and Paving equipment, and manufacturers of Lamella Portable Waste Water Treatment Plants.
This role is based in Whangarei and is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, well respected national company in an integral role. Within this sales role you will be responsible for the promotion and sales of our full range of capital equipment as well as managing customer relationships to ensure long-term sustainable growth.
This is a busy and fast paced role where you will be the face of our organisation providing a positive and professional service. You will be assessing client’s machinery requirements, providing product information, detailed quotes as well as after sales support.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have proven sales experience ideally within the mechanical or heavy equipment industry
- Have the drive to meet and exceed sales targets
- Be an excellent communicator both written and orally
- Ability to build solid relationships with clients
- Enjoy overcoming challenges to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ability to prioritise workload, work autonomously whilst contributing to the wider sales team.
