The Role

Working closely alongside the Sales Manager your main focus will be to grow the specifications of the products and systems by developing strong relationships with all specifiers and customers within your given client portfolio. This is an established portfolio dealing with the key commercial clients.  This role will suit someone who has strong architectural connections with the Auckland territory and has had strong success in specifications within the commercial sector. You will be providing an unparalleled level of support to architects via technical drawing and specification assistance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the presentation of the product, with a big focus on architects and specifiers
  • Plan and operate a regular and efficient service of visits and technical literature supply to clients. Visits to be made in based on planned projects or sales potential
  • Sell and promote other systems offered and service as widely and actively as possible in new work and maintenance situations
  • Develop relationships with commercial and professional associations influential to the business
  • Managing and developing well known and respected Key Commercial Accounts
  • Comply with weekly and monthly reports as directed by the Team Leader

 

Skills & Experience

  • Solid work experience within the building & construction channel, specifically working with architects in Auckland / Upper North Island
  • Experience working on multiple & long-term building projects
  • Ability to think outside the norm and be proactive within the market
  • Keep up to date with market trends internationally as well as locally
  • Strong attention to detail
