Monier Roofing, a business unit of CSR Limited, is a leading manufacturer of premium roof tile products which enhance the beauty of homes and buildings.  Our products are supported by a distribution and installation network across New Zealand and Australia.

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be a member of the regional sales team, accountable for meeting both financial and non-financial sales targets within set regional markets, to meet Monier Roofing’s financial, service, contractual and management expectations.

Using your strong sales experience and/or industry knowledge, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and monitoring individual sales plans; analyse, review and report on sales activities.
  • Identifying and approaching new customers
  • Present sales solutions to customers
  • Plan and prioritise – manage time to achieve optimum business effectiveness.
  • Use negotiation, conflict resolution and selling techniques across a range of customer groups.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in front-line sales, with an appreciation for the construction industry.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills and able to motivate others to take action
  • Good organisational skills – able to effectively analyse and plan where to spend time with which customers that will generate greatest return for the business
  • Commercial acumen
  • A results driven mindset
  • Motivation to achieve
  • The ability to build and capitalise on effective customer partnerships
  • Excellent management of stakeholder relationships
