Monier Roofing, a business unit of CSR Limited, is a leading manufacturer of premium roof tile products which enhance the beauty of homes and buildings. Our products are supported by a distribution and installation network across New Zealand and Australia.
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be a member of the regional sales team, accountable for meeting both financial and non-financial sales targets within set regional markets, to meet Monier Roofing’s financial, service, contractual and management expectations.
Using your strong sales experience and/or industry knowledge, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing and monitoring individual sales plans; analyse, review and report on sales activities.
- Identifying and approaching new customers
- Present sales solutions to customers
- Plan and prioritise – manage time to achieve optimum business effectiveness.
- Use negotiation, conflict resolution and selling techniques across a range of customer groups.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5+ years’ experience in front-line sales, with an appreciation for the construction industry.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong influencing skills and able to motivate others to take action
- Good organisational skills – able to effectively analyse and plan where to spend time with which customers that will generate greatest return for the business
- Commercial acumen
- A results driven mindset
- Motivation to achieve
- The ability to build and capitalise on effective customer partnerships
- Excellent management of stakeholder relationships
