Epson, the world's number one Projector brand, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our Projector business in Auckland New Zealand
Firmly established as the market leader, Epson have further growth opportunities and seek a candidate with a proven ability to not only excel in managing existing relationships, but to pursue and nurture new business.
Reporting to the NZ General Manager, this is a senior position in our organisation. Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing our ongoing strategy for the projector business
- Maintaining and progressing our existing business through effective management of key channel partners: distributors, system integrators, major retailers, and other resellers.
- Prospecting, developing and obtaining sales results from new markets, particularly in rental/ staging, and digital signage.
- Building, maintaining and managing relationships with industry partners, consultants and end users.
- Performing outstanding sales and product demonstrations, and presenting to people at all levels.
- Administering the business: forecasting stock and sales, determining our marketing activities and spend, and reporting.
This is an opportunity to manage a large business with authority and autonomy. To be successful you will have a solid background in business management, sales management or as an outstanding BDM. You offer exceptional customer service, are an excellent communicator, and command respect through your professionalism. You are passionate about your business, and achieving results.
Previous experience in Audio Visual, Consumer Electronics (especially with LCD display/ flat panels), or Rental/ Staging markets is highly desirable. Formal Management or Business qualifications are advantageous.
