We are a family run business who has just recently taken on a 3rd person to join our team. Although we are a small team we are still a top ranked advisory firm with our lead providers. We are target driven people who aim for excellence in the service we give our clients and the targets we aim to achieve.  In an age-old industry, we have a modern approach to our business – we definitely do not fit the ‘Insurance Salesman’ mould. We are specialists in the risk insurance area and we are authorised ACC advisers as well. In addition to this we offer Commercial and Domestic Fire & General and KiwiSaver. Our aim is to make our clients’ lives simple with having to only make 1 phone call for their insurance needs.

About the role

If English is your first language - This dynamic role is more than just customer service and sales support. It is a role suited to someone with a passion for sales and the drive to grow with the business. The core of the role is to create lead generation opportunities as well as outlining what we can offer.


Working one-on-one with the Senior risk advisor and Director, 

In this role you will:

  • Use your natural sales ability to schedule appointments with new and existing customers to ensure no opportunities are missed!
  • Use your strong skill set to look after all follow up and review opportunities
  • Identify sales opportunities with existing customers
  • Recognise and help develop new markets
  • Networking extraordinaire
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to be assertive where necessary
  • Sending information packs via email.
  • Setting meetings for potential clients
  • Updating data

About you

We are on the hunt for someone who is proactive, reliable, organised and who can work to targets and KPI’s. If you:

  • Are self-motivated and confident approaching new and existing customers
  • Get a kick out of phone sales
  • Have exposure to diary and/or CRM management  
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport
  • Would make a great addition to our award-winning sales team
  • Accountable and results driven
  • Keen to grow the role and take on more responsibility
  • Persistence
