This role, based in Penrose, needs an experienced BDM to come in and hit the ground running! 
 
Working for one of New Zealand's most recognised ICT companies the opportunities for future career advancement are second to none.
 
As a Business Development Manager your role should currently encompass sourcing and securing new business through various prospecting methods, maintaining and managing your pipeline and delivering pipeline summary reports to senior management.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Cold calling, canvassing, networking and lead generation
  • Identifying new businesses to sell ICT products and services into
  • Present ICT solutions to new business customers
  • Implement the sales strategy to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
  • Maintain a high-profile presence in the market place through the creation of win-win situations with customers that turn a sales relationship into a long-term commercial partnership
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline in CRM
  • Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts in line with business objectives 
 
To succeed in this role, you must:
  • Be a 'hunter' with a proven track record of new business acquisition in the ME sector
  • Be a star cold caller, presenter and closer
  • Be target and results driven
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Be able to motivate and communicate to a wide audience
  • Experience in the ICT industry and understand Cloud-based platforms (SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS), SIP Solutions, LAN, WAN, IS (business grade internet service), Cloud Data Centre and Carrier Ethernet.
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience
