The role
As a Sales Representative for PBT the main purpose of your role will be to sell and promote all of PBT's core services. You will be generating new leads, producing proposals and presenting professional presentations to future clients.
You will need to be a good listener and able to think outside the square to develop tailored solutions to meet client's requirements.
You will be required to use PBT's CRM system on a daily basis to keep track of your sales activities and customer database.
This role will be servicing a designated area of Dunedin & the Lower South Island but from time to time you may be required to support other local areas.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be outgoing, organised and well presented for this position. Strong commercial awareness is important and you will need to have exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
You will need to have a proven and successful history in a sales development role at a medium-large business. Working knowledge of the NZ freight logistics industry will be highly coveted.
Excellent oral and written communication, strong numeracy skills and computer literacy in MS Word and Excel are essential as well as having the ability to learn new systems without issue.
