THE COMPANY:

THE ROLE:

Based in Christchurch and reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Food Service Sales Manager is a newly created role and a key member of the NZ Sales Leadership Team.  The role will provide motivational leadership to a sales team and is predominantly responsible for driving the sales growth of Alliance’s premium products (predominantly Lamb and Beef) within the NZ Food Service Sector (restaurants, caterers, hotel groups, cafes etc).  The role will also be accountable for delivering Alliance’s overall Food Service / Premium Products National Accounts strategy and ensuring the exemplary delivery of superior customer service in order to guarantee an exceptional customer experience.

THE CANDIDATE:

Applicants will possess a proven track record of success in a sales management/business development/key account leadership role, ideally gained within the New Zealand FMCG industry.  Prior experience in the food preparation / food service sector would also be highly beneficial.  Well-developed commercial acumen is essential, along with exceptional communication, leadership and relationship management skills.  A customer focused approach along with a passion for food is essential and an affinity for working with premium products is preferred.
