Our Client
Energy Controls Group have been designing and manufacturing transformers since 1981 and they supply network and electric companies worldwide. Based in Christchurch, with two additional sites in Australia, their purpose-built manufacturing facility provides TWS Energy Controls with an ideal base for the bespoke design and manufacture of current transformers, voltage transformers for metering and protection and power transformers to meet individual customer requirements in the electrical industry. The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, Energy Controls Group is seeking a talented Sales Manager with an Australasian focus experienced in developing and implementing strategic sales plans. A structured approach to sales and account management is desired, along with proven experience setting and achieving sales targets. This role is responsible for leading and managing two direct reports in Australia and New Zealand, and will be required to travel fortnightly to Australia.
Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will be a strategic thinker with past successes in sales, leadership and coaching within a high performing culture. You will play a key part in the company exceeding customer expectations by supplying the best designed solutions at the right price. Energy Controls is proud of its team culture, so of equal importance will be your strong interpersonal skills, easy going style and the ability to deliver on your word.
A background in capital sales or electrical products is desirable, however not essential.
