Your Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced National Merchandising Manager to lead our Merchandising teams across New Zealand and manage the business selling expenses to deliver agreed objectives nationally. With your strong management skills you will take this team of loyal, dedicated and passionate individuals to the next level.
 
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage a team of 100 merchandisers based throughout NZ
  • Ensure achievement of agreed targets/KPIs nationally bu coaching and guiding our team to execute flawlessly
  • Embed the sales system (software and hardware) use by the field sales team, and ensure TMs are guiding and coaching merchandisers with this capability
  • Develop and maintain the operational Masterplan for merchandising
  • Leave management of merchandisers and relief cover, within budget and quality expectations
  • Recruitment and performance management of direct reports, ensuring development of careers and succession planning
  • Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies including Nestle Management and Leadership principles, Trade Spend, Nestle/local Trade Policy, local Trade Terms, IC3, Health and Safety regulations.
 
About You
Your open and honest approach, coupled with your people management and FMCG expertise, will enable you to lead and inspire this team of merchandisers. You will coach the team to deliver on agreed targets/KPIs nationally. We are looking for a high level of commitment and a proven ability to deliver results. You have the ability to communicate openly and frankly, and take pride in all you do in contributing to the reputation and the performance of the team and the organisation.
