Do you have the drive and motivation to increase and develop business in a buoyant construction market?
One of the leading companies in the NZ scaffolding industry is in need of a Sales Consultant to join them and drive an increase in their market share in the buoyant NZ market.
You will be experienced in sales and keen to take on a highly pro-active role in developing business across the Auckland region whilst working with existing customers. The salary for this position is in the region $60-80k (dependent on experience) plus commission up to $25k and a vehicle.
The role, based in Auckland, reports to the Branch Manager and is focussed on the sales of scaffolding products across the upper North Island. The majority of your role will be spent out of the office with clients, and the rest of your time is expected to be spent researching new opportunities and preparing presentations for clients.
We are looking for:
- Field Sales experience essential
- NZ construction sector experience ideal
- Ability to identify market opportunities and formulate sales strategies
- Demonstrable Business Development background and expertise
- Confident building relationships with new clients from cold calling through to new business acquisition
- Technical knowledge/background and ability to learn technical products
- Motivated by the challenge to identify new business opportunities
