We are currently seeking a motivated National People Manager to join our People and Culture Team at our corporate office in Auckland on a permanent full time basis.

The Position

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the National People Manager will be an integral member of the People and Culture and New Zealand Country Leadership Team’s providing both short term operational and long term strategic people needs of the business.

Specifically the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing advisory service in all areas of P&C functions
• Ensuring commitment and compliance to ISS Global P&C Standards
• Assisting in recruitment, selection and retention of employees where required
• Ensuring an L&D offering linked to business needs is delivered
• Supporting adherence to compliance with HSE Responsibilities

Minimum Criteria:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Strong Customer Service ethic & skills
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels
• General People & Culture experience in a medium to large organisation
• Project Management Skills
• Prior experience in working independently with minimal direct supervision
• Demonstrated ability to provide practical solutions to Human Resource operational issues
• Microsoft Office application skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Tertiary qualification in HR Management or related discipline preferred.
