WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING.

Our Clinical Coaches support all Homecare Medical people by providing high-quality learning and development support. One day might involve you providing one on one training to an existing staff member. The next day you might be teaching a group of our new people, or helping to introduce a new service line. 

The Learning and Development team works closely with our Clinical Director so there are opportunities to be involved in call moderation, and other quality initiatives.

This role has a mental health and addiction focus, so you will have significant recent experience in acute mental health services. You will be confident working with people from many different mental health disciplines as we have a multi-disciplinary team.

 WHAT WE'LL NEED FROM YOU.

To carry out this role effectively, you'll need: 

  • adult learning qualifications (New Zealand Certificate in Adult Education and Training, or equivalent skills and knowledge)
  • Health professional registration or equivalent professional skills and experience
  • Significant experience with learning delivery, including blended delivery
  • Knowledge of the Te Pou "let's get real" framework
  • The ability to step up, and provide support to our people on the ground, and to our Managers as a trusted advisor when necessary.
  • To be able to work with minimal direct supervision (as your Manager is Wellington based)
  • You will be an expert at managing challenging conversations, and relationships at all levels
  • You will be comfortable helping to introduce new and innovative ways of working
