Human Connections Group has partnered exclusively with MedRecruit for the appointment of a Recruitment Consultant to join the team based in Queenstown.

The business provides professional contract and permanent recruitment solutions to public and private hospitals, doctors surgeries and other medical and healthcare providers.

The Job

Due to continued growth and demand of MedRecruit's services the business is looking to add to the existing team of specialist recruiters in Queenstown.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to your clients (Healthcare providers/Hospitals) and candidates (Doctors/Locums) You will demonstrate outstanding communication skills and impeccable written communication with a natural level of professionalism.

You will excel at listening to your candidate and client needs and have good attention to detail ensuring that all client briefs are taken adequately for you to match the right person to the right job, every time.

This is a fast-paced environment, so the ability to multi-task is imperative, you will enjoy the thrill of spinning many plates at the same time and a logical method of working to deal with a large volume of work.

You will focus on building up trust and strong relationships with both clients and candidates and as an expert in your field you will be their "go to" person which they will rely on for exceptional recruitment services, support and advice, a true trusted partner.

This is a great time to be in medical recruitment as the market is buoyant in New Zealand and Australia, a large proportion of healthcare professionals are locums which means you will need to be extremely proactive to meet your clients demands.

You will spend a large amount of your time on the phone, so you need to be happy in an office-based environment and comfortable corresponding via email and telephone.

• Experience as a recruiter within an agency environment or 2- 3 years in a fast-paced B2B or B2C sales role
• Understanding of working towards team and individual targets
• Impeccable verbal communication skills
• Outstanding written comprehension, spelling and grammar
• Solid computer skills with accurate typing capability
• Intermediate ability in Microsoft Office suite
• A self-starter and independent thinker
• Goal driven, and outcome focused

Your job will be to build and maintain strong relationships with doctors through understanding their professional and lifestyle goals and providing work opportunities that support those goals. There is a Sales Compensation Plan in place which means your ability to excel in your work gives you the ability to earn a top income and live in paradise.
