As our Content Marketing Specialist – Corporate, you’ll tell The Warehouse Group stories covering a range of subjects near to our hearts including our word as a good employer, NZ business and community member. We have great stories to tell, and we need a seriously smart storyteller to match.

It’s often said in ads like these that “there’s never been a more exciting time to join our business!” but we’re not going to say that, because it’s always exciting at The Warehouse Group. We’re doing a great deal of work to prepare our company for the future including the recent integration of all our brands’ marketing teams into one Centre of Excellence.

 

 

You will be responsible for:

Communicating our Group stories and news (e.g  in areas such as environment, community, diversity and inclusion, wellness, ethical sourcing) via our The Warehouse Group channels.

Channel management:

  • twg.co.nz including the newsroom 
  • TWG Corporate social channels including community management – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.

Content:

  • Produce content in line with our Tone of Voice for both the website and social channels including video & photography 
  • Align content to brand guidelines and architecture to build brand consistency
  • Manage a library of content

Stakeholder engagement:

  • With the Citizenship Steering Committee and delivery team to create and source content 

Measure/ report:

  • Measure the success of our The Warehouse Group channels – website & social channels listed above

 

 

About You:

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Communications, journalism or editorial and/or content experience (approx. 3-5 years)
  • Excellent written communications, skilled in the art of storytelling
  • Tertiary qualification in communications/journalism/PR – desired
  • Adobe Creative Suite – desired
  • Web management/CMS/ SEO experience – desired
  • Social Media experience – desired
  • Strong listening, influencing and critical thinking skills 
  • Experience owning and reporting on key business metrics 
  • Ability to communicate simply and clearly to a wide range of stakeholders
  • FMCG environment or retail marketing experience – desired
