The shout out came through, the last person we placed has done a stellar job, been promoted and will be heading offshore with the company so I need to find their next Web Developer/Designer. Working within the digital department and reporting into the Head of Digital and eCommerce you will be the web guru building web-interfaces using HTML, CSS3, SASS, jQuery and other libraries to ensure corporate and promotional messages are reflected across all devices. This will include consulting with the business, recommending and developing solutions across general content, landing pages, promotional pages and promotional templates video content to name a few. and you be involved with control customer journey. You will enjoy creating strong working relationships with advertising/marketing teams, Business Managers/Product Managers, external suppliers and web design counterparts globally.

Skills & experience required:

  • 2-3 years web development /designing experience with a commercial focus (portfolio of work available)
  • Modern web design concepts - responsive design and mobile first development
  • Strong skills within HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and XHTML
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Online retail background preferred
  • SEO best practices with on-site and performance factors
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Ability to navigate complex issues
