Job Description
Forbury Property is a software business providing commercial real estate valuation solutions in New Zealand and Australia. Our customers include global real estate service providers and managers of institutional grade real estate investments.
We have an active product development strategy: recent developments have positioned Forbury Property to launch an extended product suite extending our market reach and potentially opening new frontier market opportunities.
We are looking for a talented C# Developer based in Christchurch, New Zealand to augment an existing high-achieving development team. Specifically, we are looking for someone who can learn the structure and business rules of existing C# code sources and quickly start contributing.
This role will suit someone who is looking to take the next step by learning from the best and making important contributions to the development of the broader Forbury Property platform. The ideal candidate will be a good listener, a great learner, and a stickler for the detail.
The Role
- Develop and support web applications and servers (both new and existing)
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
- Working within small team you will be expected to engage with existing development team members and client representatives on technical solutions with a mind for delivery
Core Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in object oriented programming languages
- Experience with C#
- Experience with Angular 2+ (preferred) or similar applications including Angular or React
- Strong working knowledge of web technologies, web application architectures and best-practice authentication and security protocols.
- Understand business reasons for functionality not just technical
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong time management skills
- Some experience using Microsoft Excel, particularly VBA Macros
