THE ROLE

Reporting into the Systems Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting with systems security requirements across the groups systems and networks. You will be reviewing existing systems to identify improvements, document standards and review operating procedures. Working alongside the existing Systems Engineers, you’ll be expected to maintain the server and network environment playing an extremely key part in planning, deploying and management of these systems and network security solutions

Additional tasks include supporting the Service Desk by providing 3rd level assistance for all systems and hardware across the business.

SKILLS:

  • A relevant Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or similar
  • MCSE qualified or similar
  • Cisco experience in network management
  • Experience with Microsoft Server 2012 with MS Exchange and SQL Server
  • Strong background with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
  • Proven track record within Security across network, server and client infrastructure
  • Public sector/healthcare background is advantageous
