Are you looking for a role where you can be part of a great team, delivering excellent customer service whilst assisting the community?  This role is for both Saturday and Sunday (with the option for Wednesday also).  If these are the hours are looking for, please read on.

Vector Wero Whitewater Park is a world class tourism destination that engages our communities and youth. It is New Zealand's first facility to offer an artificial river and water course for recreation, sports, emergency services training, school programmes and youth development.
 

It is a pinnacle stage within the collection of facilities which includes the Vodafone Events Centre and the Sir Noel Robinson Conference Centre.

The white water park is developed and operated on behalf of the community by Second Nature Charitable Trust which reinvests the corporate dollars into educational and community programmes – building a stronger community where everybody wins.

The role:
The purpose of the position is to jointly coordinate activities with the Customer Service Coordinator and the other team members to ensure seamless transition for our customers to and from the water activities.

So, what do some of your key responsibilities look like?

  • Ensure visitors are warmly greeted upon arriving at the park and assist with enquiries
  • Answer booking enquires received by phone or visitors to the Park
  • Confirm enquiries into bookings and enter the details through the system
  • Assist customers on arrival for their activity with the check in process
  • Prepare the Reception area

  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Have a strong focus and proven experience within customer service
  • Be proactive in your working approach and enjoy contributing to a team culture
  • Be welcoming and enjoy helping our customers
  • Eligible to work in NZ
