About your new Company:
This government organisation leads New Zealand’s health and disability system and has overall responsibility for the management and development of that system. They work across the health sector to deliver better health outcomes for New Zealanders.
Key Responsibilities:
This organisation is going through some exciting change in the BI and Analytical space. A new BI and Data Warehouse Strategy has been developed and a project to improve the BI and Analytical environment. The department you will be working in requires a Senior Data Warehousing and Reporting Analyst who is passionate about supporting the development of high quality BI and Data Warehouse Solutions. You will be the bridge between the The Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing team and their customers and other business units. So, you will need to have strong communication and presentation skills. With an ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation.
What I am looking for in your CV:
- Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate to all levels of the organisation
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Well-developed Oracle SQL skills
- Experience in Data Warehousing
- Experience in BI and Data Warehouse trends
- Strong understanding of data warehouse modelling techniques
- Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues and stakeholders
- Ability to Identify and define pragmatic solutions that are easily implemented and adhere to common BI practices
- Ability to bring together diverse concepts and design data solutions that not only meet requirements but also provide the best possible value for consumers and stakeholders
- Knowledge of WhereScape and Qlik Sense is preferable.
