About our organisation and the role
The National Hauora Coalition (NHC) is a Māori-led and culturally driven organisation focused on improving health and social outcomes for whānau/families.
An opportunity has opened for a 10-month fixed term full-time Software Developer within our Mōhio Group. The role is focused on a specific project to continue development of our consumer facing mobile app to be used by our health and social clients.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a mix of the following skills and experience:
- Microsoft Stack (C#, .NET, MVC, WPF, MS SQL, Power BI, Xamarin)
- Experience in API design and end-to-end development
- Front-end mobile app development for both iOS and Android
- An eye for design and usability
- Ability to work autonomously and in an agile way within our experienced team
- Ability to troubleshooting, test, implement and recommend solutions
- Using tools such as bug tracking, case management and source control
You will be developing the mobile app on top of our existing platform that already includes mobile applications, a desktop application, web based front end and an electronic forms engine. You'll work within our small team that includes analysts and developers and you must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
An immediate start is available to the right person in our modern Avondale, Auckland office based in Harbourside Business Park. Any relevant background in primary health (Mōhio, MedTech and MyPractice), Māori or non-profit sectors will add to the profile we are seeking but are not required.
If you have the skills to make a difference and contribute to a dynamic and transformative organisation then we would welcome your application.
