Infrastructure & Service Delivery Manager - $110,000 

Demand focused role, within a mission critical environment, where you’ll be working with a range of international customer’s implementing and integrating them into our client’s infrastructure environment.

This role is responsible for the technical design, implementation and operation of our client’s infrastructure for their key clients. You’ll be assisting both local and international customers. Managing their software and hardware integrations, as well as managing the on boarding of new customers into our client’s infrastructure. Most of the technology is supported from overseas via regional teams and some local vendors such as IBM and Fujitsu. With no local team, you’ll need to demonstrate solid ability of managing, leveraging, coordinating local and overseas vendors, and regional IT business teams to deliver positive client outcome’s quickly and effectively.  

In this role, you’ll be the New Zealand lead, the single point of contact for all Infrastructure and Service Management. All strategy and standards are created by the regional and international team’s with your local input.  You’ll need to possess and demonstrate a strong track record of bringing together and identifying consistencies between local, regional and international infrastructure teams and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction. There are no local teams to rely on, so your project prioritisation, demand management and vendor management skills will be critical to successful delivery. This is a mission critical environment for their key clients, with no room for error or failure and very strict international service level agreements to adhere to.

The role would suit an accomplished hands on Infrastructure Manager / Service Delivery Manager or a Senior Network Administrator looking to advance their career. 

You’ll need recent hands on experience within a complex service provider or integrator, leveraging and co-ordinating overseas teams and vendors providing clients with world class infrastructure expertise and solutions.

Significant workload of key client projects, as well as an internal global major transformation programme, no two days the same.

Not so much a technical role, with no responsibilities for server hosting, patching etc. more vendor and regional infrastructure team co-ordination /management.

Managing the co-ordination and management of all aspects of IT ensuring service quality to clients and end users.

Understands infrastructure, and how to integrate clients to ancillary systems, global systems, local security networks etc.

Ensure infrastructure availability, reliability, capacity and security including asset and risk management.

Translating business needs into technology requirements.

Managing third party technical vendor relationships with a focus on delivery, cost, standards and reporting.

Incident management and problem management escalation process.

Managing availability within agreed SLA’s.

ITIL Service Management Framework.

Highly visible role with excellent local and international career prospects.
