This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional organiser who has the ability to actively keep projects on track and can see the big picture. You will coordinate software development projects by collaborating with various stakeholders such as developers and clients to ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget and that we are delivering at and beyond expectations. We are looking for somebody that can take ownership and offer direction to the project team. Some exposure to software development or working in an IT team is ideal. Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage projects with specific focus on deliverables, tasks, and due dates
  • Take ownership of projects, work effectively without direction, under your own initiative
  • Convey risks, delays, and impacts to project team including initiating alternative solutions
  • Project mapping or use of project planning tools
  • Monitor and report on progress and status
  • Gathering requirements
  • Assisting developers in writing proposals, particularly making sure they are clear to the customer
  • Assisting with QA testing - particularly checking against requirements
  • Liaising with Customers on testing issues and sign offs
  • Assist with Go Live support and assistance

Requirements


You will have exceptional organizational skills as you will be the glue of the team. The majority of the time you will be coordinating tasks, directing resources, and staying aware of all aspects of the project. Communication skills will be at the highest level, you will be clear and succinct so there is no misunderstanding, but also have the charisma and energy to collaboratively drive the project in the right direction. You will also be troubleshooting and detecting potential issues and implementing solutions when issues threaten to delay the timeline or impact budget. You will have an interest in technology and the software development lifecycle.
