WHAT  IS THIS OPPORTUNITY ALL ABOUT?

As Intermediate Full Stack Engineer you will be primarily focused on delivering high quality code to overcome challenges for the ezyVet application. You will have a strong background in web development and have a desire to push the boundaries of what is achievable in this space. You will deliver beautifully crafted code that other developers love to maintain, reuse and extend.

You need to be someone experienced who has the vision and answers for other developers to look up to and be challenged and excited about what is possible. This role and mission will be no mean feat so you will need plenty of gas in the tank and a great toolbox of ideas and tricks to get the outcomes the platform will need in the future to be successful.

WHAT YOUR TYPICAL DAY WOULD LOOK LIKE?

- Arrive at the office, grab yourself a coffee with a few fellow developers, and sling a bit of banter around

- Attend a project stand up and discuss your current challenges, wins and goals for the day

- Code your heart out; design perfectly structured framework objects, build beautiful code, refactor and repeat

- Mid way through the day, give your mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse a chance to cool down and pop upstairs for a catered lunch from our A-Mazing cook Jen! (vegan options available)

- Once you're done for the day; throw down (careful now) a challenge over ping pong, Super Smash Bros, Tekken or any alternative

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (THE BORING BITS):

• At least 2 years of web development experience
• Proven person of action & delivery focused
• Results orientated
• Experience with PHP | MySQL | AWS
• Working knowledge of modern cross-browser HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, and React
• Experience with unit testing (PHPUnit)
• Strong OO design patterns, modular design
• Experience building and consuming APIs (JSON, SOAP)
• Strong attention to detail with relentless follow up
