Key challenges will include, but not be exclusive to, translating business requirements into technical requirements; closely collaborating with a number of senior management members in order to obtain a full understanding of the architecture, and ensuring that the API is what the business needs.
  
There is support at all levels but you must be inquisitive and proactive in order to properly problem solve here. Therefore a big picture thinker who can tackle ambiguity will be required.
  
Relevant financial services experience will be considered a real bonus, as well as an appreciation of how AI will make a difference in how the business will evolve in the next 3-5 years.
