The Business Intelligence Architect is a new role for the business where you will liaise directly with key stakeholders across the organisation, with the aim to implement new BI capabilities to meet the growing needs and demands of the business.  You will utilise your experience to lead workshops/meetings with business partner and leaderships teams to understand what the business needs and to build/implement roadmaps, strategies and/or processes to achieve their goals. You will be designing and delivering technical projects within an agile framework, along with managing and supporting data warehouse tools

The successful candidate will be a competent and experienced solutions focused architect who not only is technically proficient, but is also an excellent communicator across all levels and a diverse range of people.  You will have a proven track record in understanding the value of information to a business, identify risk and/or opportunity and work to transform the way business intelligence solves business problems, and adds value to organisational goals.

Technical skills you will need include:

• Have strong experience with the Microsoft product line including Power BI, O365, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SQL server stored procedures.
• Manage and support ETL, integration and data warehouse tools
• Dimensional modelling, data warehouse and data lake design
• Implementation of cloud data warehousing
• Delivery and design of technical projects within an agile framework
• Documentation (creating knowledge base articles that others can follow)
