What will you do?
Reporting to the Information Security Manager, the IT Security Analyst is responsible for information risk assessments, analyzing technical security vulnerabilities, in line with regulatory standards and industry best practices. You will provide information security guidance to all the other business units and technology teams and Your role includes identifying security threats and trends, responding to incidents, computer investigations and documentation of progress to management. The IT Security Analyst will also be required to review and modify IT security policies in response to the evolving technology environment. You will need to have worked with/ or have deep technical understanding of different security solutions & technologies (Firewalls, TCPs/IPSs, Proxies, SIEM).
The role is based on the outskirts of Hamilton.
Your background:
- 6+ years prior experience in a similar role or with Information security
- CISSP certified or equivalent- Relevant experience using security principles and internationally recognized frameworks
- Experience with security tools within the physical and cloud environments
- Solution- driven, analytical, excellent priority management abilities
- Stellar documentation and stakeholder management skills
- Superb English communication skills
- Must have existing working rights within NZ
