My client, a growing technology business is looking for an inspiring and focused leader to join the business as a Customer Support Manager.  This role will play a key part in ensuring the team continuously deliver outstanding quality and highly effective customer service to existing and future customers.  Although this is a Customer focussed position, we are looking for someone who has a background and solid understanding in IT and ALM with a real passion for people management.

Key responsibilities for this role include (but not limited to):
  • Leading and growing the team of Production Support Engineers
  • Managing and enhancing the various processes and agreements (SLA’s) in place with valued customers
  • Working collaboratively with other areas of the business to ensure they are efficiently and effectively providing the best service they can
  • Maintaining trusting relationships with customers, obtaining intimate understanding of their business and having the ability to provide insights and make commercial decisions as necessary
To be successful, you will bring:
  • Proven management and leadership experience within an IT environment
  • Evidence of your ability to build and maintain trusting client/customer relationships through exceptional customer service
  • Your ability to inspire and drive top performance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
This role is replacing a Head of Support position within a high-performing and friendly environment.  As mentioned, this opportunity can be based in Wellington or Auckland dependant on the successful candidate.
