Role 1: Senior DevOps AWS Engineer
This role is cut out for a DevOps engineer who knows their stuff and demands some latest technology and coding practices. It's not just another DevOps role, it's very specialized. If you are up for the challenge then read on.
  
You know you are more than just DevOps Engineer. You love building and being responsible for a production environment that's resilient to failures and is operation 24/7. The teams you would be working with are cross-functional and have some truly exceptional developers. As a leader, in your role, you would be the pinnacle person that the development team and the DevOps team would rely on.
  
Requirements as a Senior DevOps Engineer:
-- 5 years experience operating a 24/7 production environment
-- 2 years experience with infrastructure automation and systems development as a DevOps engineer
-- Experience with IaaS platforms and components – specifically AWS
-- Experience with Docker
-- Experience with administering and operating a Linux based infrastructure.
-- Experienced developer using languages including Bash / Ruby / Python / Go.
-- Experience with technologies, such as DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls (preferably iptables), load balancing, DHCP, RAID, switching & routing, file systems, ssh, SMTP, etc.
-- Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools (e.g. Nagios / Sensu / Shinken / Graphite / CollectD / StatsD / CloudWatch / LogStash / Splunk / etc).
-- Knowledge of DDOS, OWASP, CVE, Docker security, intrusion detection, and penetration testing
  
Role 2: A Cloud Architect with AWS experience
As the Cloud Architect, you would be responsible for leading the Cloud Architecture and the Cloud computing strategy. In this role, you would have a strong working knowledge of AWS, Linux environment, IoT and Mobility management platforms.
  
Requirements for an AWS Cloud Architect would include
-- Having experience on multiple Cloud environments primarily AWS but have been exposed to Azure and Google Cloud, Migration.
-- Years of Experience: 7+ yrs
-- In-depth knowledge of Cloud services and experience in utilizing Cloud services.
-- Good experience in designing Cloud solutions and Services
-- Ability to design high availability applications on AWS across availability zones and availability regions.
-- Ability to design applications utilizing Cloud native services.
-- A deep understanding of application deployment and data migration on AWS.
-- Prior experience in DevOps, Scripting using languages such as Bash / Ruby / Python / Go Infrastructure & Application Automation (Process Automation, CI-CD, Jenkins, Git tools)
-- Prior experience in leading teams (Infrastructure, Application development, Cloud native teams)
-- Have a clear understanding of Networking and design principles involving Multi-Cloud implementations.
-- Knowledge on cutting-edge technologies as Containers, PaaS services, Microservices, Serverless computing Highly available & Disaster recovery solutions.
-- An AWS Certified Architect (Professional) - desirable
