Our BIDW practice specialises in business intelligence strategy, consulting and implementation in order to deliver complete, versatile BIDW solutions allowing customers to make the most of their data.
We require an experienced Senior / Lead Microsoft BI Consultant to join our growing Tauranga team.
In this role you will work closely with customers as a Senior Consultant, using your extensive experience to design and deliver quality Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions using the Microsoft BI suite.
Skills and experience
You will have proven experience using the Microsoft BI product suite and your consultancy skills will be second to none. You will also possess an excellent understanding of Data Warehouse development methodologies.
You will need:
- Exceptional BIDW architecture, dimensional modelling, ETL architecture and design skills
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and earlier versions
- SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Semantic Model, PowerPivot
- Implemented the Power BI suite of products including manipulation using Power Query, report and dashboard design (preferred)
- Azure & AWS Cloud Architecture
- Wherescape Red (an advantage)
- Experience translating functional and non-functional requirements into high quality design documents suitable for implementation
- Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
- Extensive consulting experience and a high level of commercial awareness
- Good problem solving and relationship management skills
