Want to work in a DevOps environment? Want to make a difference and further the great progress we are making within IS? The Waikato DHB is after an enthusiastic, highly experienced Senior to join our Hamilton based Application Services team.

We are undergoing an exciting period of transformational change and looking for an inspirational, collaborative Senior to drive DevOps, PrAgile (Pragmatic Agile) and BiModal IT excellence.
The role:
- Both support and be a part of our team working with a wide variety of stakeholders and customers to ensure that Application Services deliveries are achieved to the highest standards.
- Support and participate in the delivery of service improvement initiatives to ensure fit for purpose functionality and performance of all application environments.
- Be robust in your processes, experienced in technology and innovation and passionate about achieving great customer outcomes every day.
Requirements:
- Experience in working in an environment with challenging projects and ensuring maintenance of a large portfolio of clinical and non-clinical application environments.
- A resilient subject matter expert who is a self-starter and has experience in motivating staff, clients and vendors in software solution implementation and the use of related architectures, policy and standards development.
- Proven experience of technology leadership, planning and analysis with a strong knowledge of resource management.
- A positive attitude who empowers people with a relentless ‘can do’ attitude and brings a broad base of IT experience, and a strong focus on customer experience / outcomes.
- Strong experience in application lifecycle implementation and management.
- Experience working in a complex environment delivering enterprise mission critical applications.
- Experience in embedding IS business change and ongoing strategic business development.
- Experience in ‘full stack’ ways of working.
- Strong service improvement ethos.
