Our NGA  team in Auckland have an opportunity for Fibre Technicians where you will be responsible for the provisioning of single fibre connections from the distribution point to customer premises, as well performing all associated work.We are taking over maintenance project need more technicians for it.

The successful candidates must have the following;

• Must have Basic First Aid  which allows you to work on site.
• WTC1,WTC3 and TC.
• Must have field training experience.
• Must be Flexible with working hours and working on weekends.
• Must have basic knowledge of networking/programming.
• Experience in Telecommunications or related trades is an advantage, but  not essential( Full training will be provided).
• Experience with civil type work that involve manual or mechanical methods such as hand tool utilization, excavators, trencher or drilling machinery is an advantage
• Work experience from a job where practical / hands-on skills are used is preferable
• Must have completed a Level 7 diploma/degree equivalent education in Telecommunication/IT/Computers field.
• Must demonstrate ability and willingness to be trained and apply skills on the job.
• Must complete all required training and pass all relevant assessments to be deemed suitable to perform the job.
• Familiarity with and demonstrated adherence to the Health and Safety practices of the telecommunications industry and Broad-spectrum.
• Understanding of MSD`s will be an advantage.
• Valid NZ driver's license Class 1 would be an advantage.
