PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE IS IN WELLINGTON

An opportunity has come up for an Intermediate/Senior Security Networking Engineer to join a team within the Wellington region. You will be working with a team of 25 other professionals across the Wellington office focussed on providing Systems Engineering within the Security space of its key customers and clients. This is a client facing position, so excellent communication skills are paramount.

Located in the heart of Wellington City, you will be part of the Network Services Business Unit working to convert current system solutions into Fortigate managed solutions.  

The organisation is going through huge growth, which will require a focus on 50-60 migrations over the next 6-12 months.

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will come with the following skill set:

• Hands on Knowledge with Firewall migrations
• Commercial experience with Fortigate
• Knowledge and hands on experience with Dynamic routing BGP capabilities
• Hands on experience with Cisco and HP Switches
• Hands on experience with Windows environment
• Experience with VMWare vSphere
• Working history with Cloud based platforms
• Excellent and client focussed communication at all levels (including Technical IT professionals)
• Certification in Security administration
• Fortinet Certification
