SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER / TRUSTED ADVISOR - Auckland

Proactively maintain & support clients with infrastructure. Deliver top quality ICT service, support &  IT project delivery to CodeBlue clients, meet all monthly standards - productive & billable time. Adhere to all  Service Level Agreements (SLA's), update clients on a regular basis regarding delivery expectations, issues or future technology opportunities. Review clients on-going technology needs, provide them with a technology roadmap, assist them in achieving their business objectives. Ensure clients are aware of the full scope of CodeBlue services, highlighting any potential opportunities to the client management team, or Senior Trusted Advisor for action. Prepare required scoping, design & project implementation documents, assist in developing client SLA's as required. Ensure all site documentation & job logging/tracking is completed on time, to high standards & comply with all client's site access policies & Health & Safety requirements.  You will be mentored by more senior members of the team, and learn new technical and business skills from other team members.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE (mandatory)
- Demonstrated success in a service delivery or systems engineer capacity (minimum 2+ years)
- Must have Systems Engineer exp in Infrastructure (not networking or software).
- IT technical experience (preferably in a relevant service provider or integrator capacity), with basic knowledge of most of the following areas:
     - Microsoft core server technologies including, Active Directory Services, Exchange, SQL Server
     - Good desktop and laptop deployment & support experienceBasic networking (LAN/WAN) experience, with knowledge of switching and routing technologies
     - Basic virtualisation & cloud computing experience
     - Understanding of firewalling & security principles & technologies
     - Mobile computing technologies
     - Ideally prior experience within a relevant service provider or integrator capacity or   other large complex environment

Ideally you will come from a vendor environment, or potentially channel or reseller. (not mandatory).

SKILLS - you must be competent in the following (mandatory)
- Windows 10 (break fix and imagining)
- Windows Server 2012-2016 (BAU support)
- Documentation (creating knowledge base articles that others can follow)
- Active Directory / Group Policy / Group Policy Preferences (BAU support)
- Office 365 / Azure Active Directory Connect (BAU support)
- Networking (wireless access, switches and firewalls) (BAU support)
- Azure (exposure)
- Linux / Apple (exposure)
- Work Request (drafting)
- Current & valid NZ drivers license

- Intermediate/Advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Office applications including     Word, PowerPoint and Excel
