Liquid Voice is a software house specializing in interaction recording and analytics for call-centres, trading floors and operation-centres. Our solutions capture interactions and automatically analyses them for useful insights using the latest in AI technology.
We are expanding the New Zealand based team and are looking for developers to work on our backend analytics and recording services. These components are responsible for interfacing with our customer’s communication systems to capture audio and other types of interactions, converting those interactions into text and then analysing them so that customers can gain useful insights from them. Our software is predominantly written in C# but uses C++ where necessary to integrate with certain types of communication system.
The role is available in Christchurch, Auckland or Tauranga.
The ideal person will be someone who enjoys working as part of team on challenging projects, brings new ideas to the table and gets stuff done.

Our focus is now on using the latest technological developments such as machine learning and deep neural networks to analyse voice and omni-channel interactions for call-centres, operation centres and trading floors.
A small New Zealand team services the APAC customers and acts as an R&D hub for the UK headquarters. We pride ourselves on working together to create innovative and practical solutions that outperform the competition.
Responsibilities:
- Interfacing with 3rd party communication systems using a mixture of open and proprietary APIs, protocols and codecs. This must sometimes be done with incomplete or inaccurate documentation
- Development of SIP and media proxy services
- Backend development of text analytics tools
- Working with data scientists to implement and improve machine learning and analytics algorithms
Key Skills:
- High proficiency with C#
- Proficient with C++
- Excellent SQL
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practice
- Analytical and attention to detail
Although not essential, any skills with machine learning, telephony protocols or computer telephony integration will be an advantage.
