We are seeking a highly competent, motivated and energetic person in the mid stage of their career to join our respected team. The primary function of this role is business development, and you will work alongside clients and stakeholders to provide them with solutions for their specific projects. You will secure work within the spatial solutions and technology areas and lead a group of experts within the wider team to provide innovative solutions to exceed client expectations
Abley is located in Auckland and Christchurch. We are looking for this role to be Christchurch based, but can be flexible if the right candidate presents themselves.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Experience in negotiating and securing commissions from new and existing clients.
- Have a good understanding of the application of spatial analysis, FME and how software development can be used to provide optimal solutions for our clients.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Very good financial, human resources, project management and time management skills.
- Managed technical specialists.
- Very good technical skills in the spatial and technology areas that mean you can understand a client’s problem.
- Experience working with clients either in a consulting role or an organisation with significant external or internal stakeholders
We fully support professional ethics and would support you towards membership of an appropriate associated professional body, if you don’t already have membership.
This is a full-time position. You will report to the Spatial Group Manager and be supported by (and in turn support) the other team members.
