Due to an internal promotion, Soft Solutions are on the hunt for our next pre-sales star, operating within our Enterprise Solutions division under the tutelage of the Enterprise Team Lead and managing one of our biggest brands. As a pre-sales resource you will be responsible for supporting the outbound BDM’s and Service Delivery staff, whilst managing the inbound sales queue. The role is dynamic, meaning some days you’ll also be assisting with conference management/co-ordination and on others you’ll be required to put your marketing hat on to whip up blogs and write some content for our weekly communications.

  • Manage inbound sales queue, delegating enquiries between team members
  • Lead follow-up and opportunity qualification
  • Licensing support and product quoting
  • Act as an escalation point for outstanding support engagements, working directly with the vendor
  • Technical enablement of opportunities with prospects via remote sessions/webex
  • A pivot point for lead management, working closely with the inside sales and administration teams
  • Delivery of channel, partner or customer specific webinars
  • Brand specific marketing (creation of blogs or content for our electronic communications)
  • Customer retention – performing customer check-ins and follow-ups, ensuring we are delivering what they require

We are looking for someone with a technical background. 

You’ll be operating from within a small dedicated team to the brand, as part of a wider business development group. You’ll be guided by your direct team leader and will report directly to the Sales Manager. Be prepared to sell, support, articulate and most importantly have fun along the way. Our team is small, but our staff tenure is great – so we are prepared to wait for the right candidate to come along that will fit nicely into the fold of the value we aim to deliver to our customers.

Your command of the English language is so engaged that you can teach a co-worker the difference between their, there and they're with ease. You have the wisdom to convey difficult concepts as simply as possible and understand that you may not have all the answers, but you know where to find them.
