This client is seeking Building Consent Processors to join their very busy building team. You will need a sound knowledge of building industry legislation and the New Zealand Building Code with the ability to work without supervision. In this position you will provide an efficient consent code compliance service to customers, ensuring all relevant information is available to provide for the effective and timely processing of applications within statutory periods. The role will look after the end to end processing of Code compliance to include receiving, assessment and resolving of complaints to the final approval of certification with the issuance of documentation.
Key requirements include:
- 1-3 years+ experience in ensuring building consents are processed and approved in accordance with the Building Code.
- Excellent organisation abilities, reporting writing skills and presentation.
- Consistency in setting, prioritising workload and meeting deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Familiarity with computer programs, with the ability to learn new systems.
