Your new company
Our client is a Auckland based design focused Architecture and Interior design practice who are currently seeking a talented Design Architect on a permanent basis. This practice has a focus on design within the multi-unit residential, hospitality and hotel sector; they have an outstanding group of talented designers who work collaboratively in their approach to design. Due to an increase in work, this practice now seeks an exceptional design Architect to work across their portfolio.
Your new role
Your role will be that of a Design Architect, where you will be working alongside senior Architects and Directors. You will be assisting and taking responsibility within master planning and conceptual design stages as well as working with the project team through construction phases. This position will see you engaging with clients as well as senior staff members, this role will carry high levels of responsibility and it's expected that you're able to collaborate effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role it's important that you have a strong design background and are able to demonstrate your creative flair through your portfolio of work. This practice work on a range of projects, including multi-unit residential, hotel and hospitality (bars, cafes and restaurants) your experience in designing similar projects will therefore be advantageous. It's imperative that you have strong communication skills and are able to communicate your ideas, both verbally as well as through presentations. As a collaborative design studio, the ideal candidate will work well in a team environment and be able to effectively collaborate on projects.
