First, here’s a little about us
We are an integrated, award-winning design studio that removes the traditional boundaries between the disciplines of architecture, landscape and urban design. We are guided by a clear set of principles and ideas; our kaupapa is based on deepening the relationships between land, people and culture.
Here’s the role
- You’ll collaborate within our inter-disciplinary team to work across a variety of high impact urban design projects of all scales including masterplans, town centre and neighbourhood regeneration
- Conduct analysis of the built environment and apply an understanding of urban systems to design places, spaces and neighbourhoods
- Drive innovation with award-winning, impactful solutions that extend and enrich places, people and communities
- Apply a solid knowledge of a range of design tools and methodologies, including design production of concepts using Adobe Suite and CAD software (Autocad and/or Archicad)
Do you have?
- 4 – 6+ years working across urban design projects
- A first degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture, an Urban Design qualification is a bonus
- Strategic big picture thinking and ability to carefully integrate design and planning to push a design vision forward
- An understanding of residential and mixed-use building typologies
- A good understanding of streetscape and public realm
- Knowledge of Auckland's planning framework and consenting processes
- A hunger for excellence, innovation, and doing things differently
- Excitement for collaborating within our “no boundaries” design environment
