North Beach is New Zealand's largest family owned surf, skate and street fashion retailer with ten stores across New Zealand and a fast growing online presence.
Our company has been deep rooted in street fashion for 18 years, kitting Kiwis out in trends from top NZ and International brands since way back when.
To continue our growing success, we're now looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team.
With a focus on bringing our awesome brand culture and essence to the surface of every channel, this is an exciting role with a wide scope and hands-on approach.
Based in our Albany Head Office, you will be responsible for driving the look and feel of our brand while bringing creative thinking and new ideas to the business to take our brand essence to the next level.
In our buzzing retail environment, you will require flexibility to prioritise and execute multiple projects within tight deadlines, while maintaining a kick-ass, can-do attitude.
Day to day marketing content production will include, but not be limited to:
- Email Marketing Campaigns
- Website Content
- Digital marketing materials
- In-Store Signage
- Print media
On top of producing marketing content, you will participate in creative briefings and reviews, able to competently justify the reasons and concepts behind your work with consideration to brand guidelines and conversion driving design elements.

As well as being awesome, creative, on-trend and on-brand, you will also need at least 2 years' relevant design experience, ideally in the retail environment.
Other essential attributes include:
- Relevant design qualification or degree
- Deep working knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience producing impactful and commercially successful assets
- Focused, thoughtful and accurate with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative environment
- Fantastic people skills with a high energy approach to working in a busy yet motivated team
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm, with flexibility required to adjust hours during busy periods.
