Hudson is currently working with a reputable government department to find their next admin superstar! Our client is currently looking for a Business Support Officer to provide administrative support to a close-knit team. This role is an initial 12 month contract with the potential to turn in to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not exclusive to):
- Provide quality, efficient administrative support to managers and staff including but not limited to scheduling of appointments, replies to standard correspondence, formatting of reports; travel bookings and itineraries; preparing agendas and taking minutes of meetings as required
- Provide support in document and records management
- Provide technical support in the use of various Ministry applications and databases in regards to data entry and processing
- Effectively coordinate and undertake tasks required for events, meetings and other commitments
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in an admin support role
- Have strong communication and time management skills
- Be Wellington based
- Previous experience within a government organisation would be advantageous
- Have right to work (visa status) in NZ
