About the role

As our Sales Support Specialist, your focus will be providing outstanding customer satisfaction and coordinating activities for our dynamic sales team. You are the key person linking customers to our sales team.  Although you will be working mostly from our Havelock North office during regular business hours, extra time may be required during peak times.

In this role you will be:

  • Providing support to the Sales Team by preparing sales documents such as proposals, presentations, reports, scheduling appointments, following up on sales calls and assisting in the sales process.
  • Providing superior customer experiences with excellent communication
  • Maintaining databases and contacts
  • Creating PowerPoints for customer meetings and presentations
  • Preparing sales contracts
  • Co-ordinating events and  providing management support
  • Entering and maintaining leads and prospects
  • General administration activities such as sales invoice form completion and taking meeting minutes

Required skills

This role would ideally suit a graduate who is keen to make an impact and get started on a commercial career path.  You will be a confident communicator with high attention to detail.  You thrive in an environment that requires the ability to multi task and can pick up new skills quickly.  You will be comfortable with technology and have experience with Microsoft Office tools.  Experience in a similar  role could be an advantage.
