The Role

The position of Member Services Administrator, is primarily responsible for fostering positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders across public practice/industry, membership base and committees within CPA - New Zealand Division.  The work is administrative in nature and will require exceptional attention to detail and business acumen in order to fulfil the following responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings, minute taking and prepare agendas for the New Zealand Councils and committees
  •  Act as the contact point for committee members in New Zealand
  • Facilitate and participate in key meetings with our Public Practice employers
  • Facilitate and support the relationship between Public Practice Discussion Groups and the Public Practice committee
  • Providing superior customer experience for new and existing members; public practice employer representatives and industry representatives

 

Skills & Experience
This is a challenging, varied and fast paced role that would suit an experienced customer service administrator who can demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.  As a self- starter, you like to take the initiative to ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed and supported as required.  You also like to resolve problems or issues that arise, in a timely fashion.  A flexible approach and a willingness to take on additional tasks, be they large or small, will enable you to be an effective team member working in a small professional office environment that values collaboration and oppeness, creating an environment that allows the best service possible to be delivered to members and our key stakeholders.

 

  • Previous experience in an administration role in a professional service environment
  • Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work as a team player or independently
  • Communication skills: High level interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise your work
  • Excellent time management skills
