The role
Multiple positions have become available for a full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00 – 5:00 across two rosters as an AMP Personal Lines Underwriting Consultant within the Sales and Service division in Suncorp New Zealand located in Auckland CBD.
In this role, your main focus will be on underwriting and processing the complex referrals sent through from our AMP Advisers and aligned Brokers, and on occasion discuss and handle payments directly from our customers.
The successful candidates will receive 3.5 weeks of full-time paid training starting in early September.
Key Responsibilities
- All work is underwritten according to Vero guidelines and authority levels
- Customer needs and expectations are understood, anticipated and fulfilled
- Provide an exceptional level of service to all customers
- Process new business, renewals, reviews, endorsements and cancellations in accordance with authority limits
Skills and experience
- Strong relationship building, customer service and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of general insurance
- You must have excellent keyboard skills and telephone manner
- Be able to juggle multiple tasks, and have a 'can do' attitude
- Underwriting experience in general insurance products a bonus
