Freshmax NZ Limited is a leading Australasian fresh produce marketer and service provider, with a national presence in NZ, a rapidly expanding market in Australia and growth opportunities in the Pacific Rim. Domestically, the business provides national produce solutions for retail chains and independent retailers.

We are looking for a super star to join our business supporting the Avocado and Auckland Wholesale team providing administrative support.

The role is split across the Avocado domestic team and the administration team and key responsibilities include:

  • Providing logistics support to maintain and manage all shipment data for Avocados including monitoring costs, payments and communications with relevant parties;
  • Managing daily avocado stock receipts and supporting the team to ensure efficient and accurate supply of stock;
  • Supporting product managers with grower payments and internal/external reporting;
  • editing and compiling grower and customer contracts including maintenance of the records;
  • supporting the Auckland Wholesale team with processing of invoices, answering customer and grower queries and all other general admin support ;
  • support the management team with safety matters across the site.

Candidates will have at least 1-2 years of experience within an administrative or customer facing role and ideally some exposure or experience with logistics.  An understanding or experience within the fresh produce industry or an industry with perishable product lines would be an advantage.

Candidates will have experience with Microsoft office products including advanced excel skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.  You will be highly organised with excellent customer service skills.  Whilst this role predominantly works Monday to Friday, as this is a 24/7 business, candidates must be available to work weekends particularly during the peak season.
