Thursday 5.15pm-9.15pm, and Sunday 8.45am-2.45pm

The ideal candidates will have experience in both gymnasium work and
taking group fitness classes.

We are a full-service health and wellness facility offering a wide range of membership options. Members and casual customers can take full advantage of the cardiovascular, resistance and free-weight equipment. We also offer more than 50 group fitness classes per week.
The position:
The fitness instructor is responsible for supervising customers using both the gym equipment and participating in the group fitness classes. You’ll be overseeing the general day-to-day running of the gym, conducting customer inductions, running programmes, fitness tests, and managing personal training sessions and group fitness classes. A strong focus on membership sales and retention.
About you:
- You’ll have a recognised fitness qualification (or similar or working towards)
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the fitness industry
- You’ll have experience of teaching group fitness classes
- Excellent Health and Safety knowledge and practice
- Work well within a team environment
- Be self-motivated and proactive
- Exceptional customer service skills
- The ability to work as rostered from Monday to Sunday.

The recruiting range for this role starts at $18 per hour, and could be negotiated for the right candidate.
