We are currently seeking a casual Large Animal Technician in the South Canterbury area.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to relate to and work well with our farming clients, be able to be a team-leader while also being capable of working well on their own and managing their own workload. Good organisational skills, flexibility and attention to detail are important requirements for this role.
To be successful, you will have sound farming knowledge and experience, with excellent stock handling skills. The ability to work comfortably and confidently with deer is an essential prerequisite for this position.
You will be physically fit, with the ability to remain calm and assertive under pressure. In order to gain accreditations, a clean police record is essential.
