With experience in dairy and a practical approach, you'll add value to our successful Canterbury North Otago Team as an innovator. The ability to build relationships from scratch is essential as your role includes connecting with a wide range of farmers and guiding and influencing decisions to bring about innovation in on-farm practices. Critically, you will be able to identify the issues facing farmers in the region and drive and deliver solutions that work.

This is an influential role and you will need to be forward thinking, innovative, energetic and motivating. Confident in approaching farmers and able to ask the right questions to get to the core of the issue is essential. Preferably you will have worked in a rural professional, consulting or advice type role and be comfortable presenting and facilitating groups and workshops.
