Concierge sounds a little fancy at a security company right? That's because it is! Ok, maybe fancy isn't quite the right word, but it is definitely an important role to our clients, as we support them much the same way in-house hotel concierges do, without the room bookings.
You'll often be the first person visitors meet at our client's location, and first impressions count.
Every client is a little different, but some of the most common things our Concierges are asked to do include greeting, providing information and additional support to visitors, receiving mail, reporting illegal parking, monitoring Health and Safety standards and other internal systems such as lifts, air con or access controls. You'll write reports on any issues or incidents and have a routine of daily site checks.
This might sound like a lot, but we offer you a great training programme and support, to ensure you have all of the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. What you need to bring with you to be successful in the role is:
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- An eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time Management skills
- Ability to work on your own unsupervised
There are a few other requirements that are important, such as the ability to pass background checks, and obtain a Security Certificate of Approval and Security Clearance - however we will help you obtain those if you don't have them already.
